God’s love for us God pursues a love relationship with us that is real, personal, and pragmatic.
Love God - Loving God is our grace enabled response, and our first priority.
Love people - We want to love others - to be motivated, encouraged, and speak truth in love to build others up; this including those who place themselves in adversarial positions to us.
Like the apostle John, we will say "If someone says, 'I love God,' but hates a Christian brother or sister, that person is a liar, for if we don't love people we can see, how can we love God, whom we have not seen?"
Grow character - We seek to grow in love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control; this is what God produces in us as we increasingly yield ourselves to Him and more fully join Him in His work. Through more regular and deeper prayer, Bible study, personal and corporate worship, connecting with one another, sharing Jesus, and gracious giving, we remain in God and He nurtures our fruitful growth.
Serve always - God has given each of us unique gifts and abilities to love and serve Him. He develops these in community, as love unites us and we serve one another. Every person has a necessary role in this community as God leads us individually and together to serve the world.
Witness - We are to witness Jesus through our lives and words, and encourage others to come into a relationship with God and grow through it.
