Liberty Center

Liberty Center opened in June of 1994.  Since that time we have served over 1525 people with many of these being families.  Over 550 of the 1525 people served have been children.  The vision of the Liberty Center is to provide a family living environment where our residents will be treated with dignity and have the opportunity to start their lives over and become self-sufficient.
The Liberty Center provides emergency shelter, supportive services, and referrals in a family living environment.  Each resident is provided emergency shelter for up to 60 days.  At the shelter we strive to provide an environment for our residents that is encouraging and empowering.  We provide case management to each resident assisting them to become self-sufficient by helping them to form a plan of action, with job and housing searches, and referrals to other appropriate services and agencies.
Current needs at the shelter are finances, volunteers, coffee, napkins, paper towels, furniture polish, sugar, spic & span, and shower cleaner. Please also save your green Great Scot receipts and turn them into the Liberty Center.
